* The two “Racetrack” standard rooms carry a “City View” label on the hotel's own room cards. We cannot tell whether that is a template slip or a real distinction, so when you ask for a Racetrack room we ask the hotel to confirm the outlook for your dates.

Premium or Racetrack: what the names suggest

The operator says some of its 400 rooms have “front-row views of the racetrack”, and its 2023 opening release put the figure at nearly half. The Destination Toronto listing repeats “nearly half”. The room names follow that split: “Racetrack” for the track side, “Premium” for the rest. Because the published size and amenity list are identical, the choice is mostly about what you want to see from the window. A track view is a pleasure on a race afternoon; on a 5 AM wake-up, blackout curtains matter more than the outlook.

What every room has

Bathroom

Bathrobes, hair dryer, private bathroom with shower, towels and NEST Sicilian Tangerine toiletries.

Sleep

Bed sheets, blackout drapes, climate-controlled air conditioning and heating.

Work

A desk, a laptop workspace, a laptop-compatible safe, a phone, and free Wi-Fi.

Drinks

Coffee and tea maker, free bottled water, mini fridge. Suites swap the mini fridge for a refrigerator and add a microwave.

Screen

LED TV with digital channels. The 2023 release described a 55-inch smart TV; the current room cards do not give a size.

Car

Free self-parking is listed as a room feature. Give the front desk your car's make, model and plate at check-in.

Sizes: two sources, two answers

The current hotel page gives 388 square feet for every standard category. The July 2023 opening release said rooms “range from 400 square feet to 840 square feet” and described “prestige suites” with a separate living room, a kitchenette with a full-size fridge and microwave, and a bathroom with a separate tub and shower. The hotel page uses different suite names today and does not give suite sizes. We print 388 square feet for standard rooms because that is the operator's current figure, and we leave suite sizes blank rather than guess.

Choosing for your trip

  • One traveller or a couple, early flight: any king. Ask for a room near the elevators if you are hauling bags at dawn.
  • Two colleagues: a Two Queen room; both categories sleep up to four.
  • Family of four: a Two Queen room works on paper, but read our before-you-book notes on the 19+ restaurants first.
  • Five or six people: only the 2 Bedroom Suite is published for six.
  • Wheelchair users: two accessible categories plus accessible Corner Suites, all listing a 60-inch roll-in shower — see accessible rooms.

The hotel's house rules say exceeding the permitted occupancy of a room can lead to eviction without a refund, so count everyone, including children, when you choose.

Ask our desk for a room

Hotel at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto · 19+ to book

Received. Our desk will check the hotel's availability and rate for your dates and reply by email, usually within one business day. Nothing is booked or charged until you confirm.

  • The desk of this independent site takes the request, checks availability and price with the hotel's reservations team or a booking partner, and answers by email.
  • We never ask for a card number here, and a request is not a booking.
  • How we are paid: if this request turns into a confirmed stay, the hotel or the booking partner that completes it pays us a commission. It never costs you more.
