On paper
The hotel's card gives four guests, two queen beds and 388 square feet, followed by a “City View” label — the same quirk we flag on the Racetrack King. The amenity list is the standard one: shower, bathrobes and NEST toiletries, blackout drapes, climate control, LED TV and free Wi-Fi, coffee and tea maker, free bottled water, mini fridge, desk and laptop workspace, laptop-compatible safe, iron, phone and free self-parking.
A race weekend for four
This is the room we would put a group of friends in for a Woodbine weekend. Admission to watch the races is free except on King's Plate day, parking at the track is free, and Woodbine's own page says most of its track-facing restaurants are open during live racing. After the last race, the hotel's restaurants are a short walk away — Casual is listed until 1 AM — and nobody has to drive home. Remember that every adult in the group needs government photo ID for any 19+ area of the resort.
Four adults, one bathroom
A 388-square-foot room with one bathroom works for two nights; beyond that the morning queue becomes the main event. If the budget allows, two king rooms side by side give everyone more space than one double-queen room. The hotel does not publish whether rooms connect, so we ask when you request two.
Things that change the plan
- Woodbine's calendar showed race days only up to 29 November 2026 when we checked. Outside the season the track side is quiet; the Premium Two Queen is then the simpler choice.
- Show nights at The Theatre fill the property. If a concert coincides with your race day, request early.
- Valet costs about $30 Friday to Sunday and the weekend rate also applies on show nights and holidays; self-parking is free.
