What the hotel lists

The amenity line on the hotel page reads: Pool & Hot Tub; Sauna & Steam Room; Gym; Pet Friendly; Meeting Rooms. The description talks about a “pool oasis” where you can swim, soak in the hot tub or relax in the sauna and steam room. The 2023 opening release was more specific: a wellness area with a fitness centre and a wet area featuring “a heated indoor pool, a hot tub, and a steam room”.

The pool sign-up

“During busier times, a pool sign-up may be in effect. Please inquire with the Front Desk upon check-in.” The hotel repeats this in its FAQ. On a show night or a holiday weekend, ask for a slot when you collect your key rather than when you are already in your swimsuit.

Rules worth knowing

• Children under 12 are not allowed in the pool, spa or fitness areas unless supervised by someone aged 16 or older.
• Pets are not allowed in the pool area or the fitness centre.
• Facilities are used at your own risk and only during posted hours; injuries should be reported to staff within 24 hours.

What is not published

Opening hours for the pool and the gym, the pool's size, the gym's equipment list and whether towels are provided at the pool. The house rules refer to “pool, spa and fitness facilities” in general terms, but the hotel page lists no spa and no treatments, so do not plan on a massage here.

Using it on a layover

A jet-lag routine that works with these facilities: arrive on the afternoon shuttle, check in at 4 PM, swim and use the steam room or sauna before 6 PM, eat early, and sleep with the blackout drapes closed. The next morning, the gym is the easiest way to wake up before a midday flight. If you are travelling with children under 12, one adult needs to be in the pool area with them.
