How big it is
The operator's figures do not quite agree with each other. Its meetings section gives a capacity of “1500+ for galas” and “4000+ for live theatre or concerts”; the introduction on the same page calls it a “5,000 person theatre”, as did the 2023 opening release. Destination Toronto's listing also says up to 5,000. We use the 4,000-plus concert figure as the conservative one.
Tickets and ages
Tickets are sold only through Ticketmaster; the operator warns that resale tickets from other platforms may be fraudulent. The box office opens two hours before show time and takes debit, American Express, Mastercard and Visa — no cash. Everyone is welcome at The Theatre, with conditions: under-16s must be with a parent or guardian aged 19 or over, and 16- to 18-year-olds may attend alone if their guardian is on the property and reachable. Children aged 24 months and under can sit on an adult's lap without a ticket. Individual events can carry their own age limits.
Show-night rules
- No re-entry. There is a designated outdoor smoking section.
- Latecomers are admitted until 30 minutes before the scheduled end of the show.
- No bags or backpacks, except a small clutch (5 × 12 × 18 cm) or a clear bag (8 × 35 × 35 cm).
- Professional cameras, recording devices and drones are not permitted.
- The venue is cashless; outside food and hard-shelled water bottles are not allowed, but empty soft bottles are.
- Coat check is in the main Theatre lobby and opens two hours before the show. Lost property goes to Guest Services on the gaming floor, behind the coat check.
- Accessible seats are sold through Ticketmaster; their location varies by show.
Getting in from the hotel
For all-ages access from the east side (parkade or main entrance), take the hotel lobby elevators to level 2 and follow the signs. The Theatre can also be entered from the west entrance or from the underground parking. Adults arriving from the parkade can walk through the gaming floor.
Staying the night after a show
The point of a hotel here is simple: when 4,000 people leave a concert at once, the garage queue is the slowest part of the night, and you will not be in it. Request a room early for big shows — the property fills. Valet on show nights is charged at the weekend rate, about $30.
