Accessibility: this site, and the hotel

Two separate things: how we try to make this website usable for everyone, and what we know about access at the hotel.

This website

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means:

  • Body text set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for readers with low vision, at a comfortable size.
  • Colour contrast checked for text and controls; information is never given by colour alone.
  • Every page has a single main heading, a skip link and landmarks for screen-reader navigation.
  • Forms have visible labels and plain error messages; dates are typed as text, not picked from a calendar widget.
  • Images carry alt text describing them as illustrations; tables have captions and header cells.
  • No autoplaying media, and no content that flashes.
  • The Google map is optional: every map has a text address and plain links beside it.

If something does not work for you, email [email protected] with the page and what happened. We will fix it or give you the information another way.

The hotel

The hotel lists two accessible room categories and accessible Corner Suites, each with a 60-inch roll-in shower, a fixed shower seat, 29-inch grab bars and a 15-inch raised toilet seat. Our accessible rooms page sets out the details and the questions worth asking. The Theatre describes itself as accessible, with accessible seating sold through Ticketmaster.

The operator publishes a multi-year accessibility plan under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), including a commitment to give at least seven days' notice of planned service disruptions. Feedback to the operator goes to [email protected].

Ask our desk for a room

Hotel at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto · 19+ to book

Received. Our desk will check the hotel's availability and rate for your dates and reply by email, usually within one business day. Nothing is booked or charged until you confirm.

  • The desk of this independent site takes the request, checks availability and price with the hotel's reservations team or a booking partner, and answers by email.
  • We never ask for a card number here, and a request is not a booking.
  • How we are paid: if this request turns into a confirmed stay, the hotel or the booking partner that completes it pays us a commission. It never costs you more.
