The night before a dawn flight: working backwards from the gate

Start from the departure time

Take your flight time and subtract whatever your airline tells you to allow at the airport. If the result is earlier than the hotel shuttle's 6 AM window, the free bus is not for you that morning; book a taxi or ride-share the evening before. If the result is later than 6 AM, call 437-428-6329 during the evening service hours and book a pick-up time with some slack, because the bus serves both terminals.

The evening

Arriving by car means the free covered garage; give the front desk your plate number at check-in. Arriving by air the afternoon before means the 3 PM to 9 PM shuttle window lines up nicely with the 4 PM check-in. Eat early. Copperhorn opens at 5 PM; Lobster Legend opens at 11 AM and stays open until midnight on weeknights, and it is the one to choose if anyone in your party is under 19.

The room

Any of the 388-square-foot standard rooms works. What matters for a short night is listed on every room card: blackout drapes, climate control you can set yourself, and a safe big enough for a laptop. Set the thermostat before dinner — one Priceline reviewer in February found the room cold and no instructions for the thermostat. Charge everything and leave the passport on the desk, not in the safe, so it is the first thing you see.

The morning

Settle incidentals the night before. Check-out is by 11 AM, so a dawn departure leaves you plenty of margin on that side. In autumn 2026, if you are taking a taxi, add time for the vehicle queue at the property's entrances; the operator says cars are let through the picket line at least every three minutes.

Worth it?
