Race day plus a show: the November 2026 dates that line up

The dates that overlap

Comparing Woodbine's calendar with the operator's event listing, both read on 29 October 2026:

• Sunday 1 November — racing (1:00 PM first post) and BEAT, the King Crimson programme with Belew, Vai, Levin and Bozzio, at The Theatre.
• Thursday 19 November — racing (3:00 PM first post) and Rishab Rikhiram Sharma's Sitar For Mental Health.
• Saturday 21 November — racing (1:00 PM) and Ele Yan's Moment 2026 World Tour.
• Friday 27 November — racing (1:00 PM) and Underoath's Define The Great Line anniversary tour.
• Sunday 29 November — the last race day listed (1:00 PM) and Jubin Nautiyal.

Show start times are on each event's ticket page, which we cannot reproduce reliably; check Ticketmaster.

How the day runs

Racing at Woodbine is free to watch except on King's Plate day, and Woodbine says most of its track-facing restaurants open during live racing. A 1 PM first post leaves the late afternoon free to get back to the hotel, change and eat. The Theatre's box office and coat check open two hours before the show; there is no re-entry once you are in, and the venue is cashless.

Which room

For a race-and-show weekend we would ask for a Racetrack King or Racetrack Two Queen and have the view confirmed — the hotel's own room cards say “City View”, which does not fit the name. Valet is charged at the weekend rate on show nights (about $30); the covered self-park garage is free.

Book in this order

1. Show tickets, through Ticketmaster only.
2. The room — show nights are when the hotel fills first.
3. Dinner: Copperhorn takes reservations on ext. 3300 and is 19+; Casual is ext. 3302.

Dates change. Treat this list as a starting point and check both calendars the week before.
